Comfy Elbow Orthoses are excellent for the gradual extension of nonfixed elbow contractures. All models feature adjustable, bend-to-fit frames and cuffs. Indicated for post-stroke/CVA, post-surgery, muscle weakness, and arthritis.
Comfy Models include two machine-washable, removable, padded terrycloth liners.
Comfyprene Models feature a bendable metal frame sandwiched between multiple layers of neoprene padding. The cover is nonremovable, surface-cleanable only. Straps are removable and washable.
The standard model is great as a resting splint for mild to moderate tone. Bend gradually for the gradual extension of elbow contractures.
Goniometer model allows the progressive extension. Goniometer dial can be set in 5º increments from 0º to 180º. The position is adjusted using Allen wrench (included) stored in the frame of an orthosis. For moderate to strong flexion synergy. Indicated for non-fixed knee contracture, post/stroke/CVA, post surgery, muscle weakness
Spring-Loaded Goniometer adds a spring that applies a dynamic stretch force to push elbow to the desired degree of extension. For moderate to strong flexion synergy. All models fit left or right.
