- The AttenuRad CT Radioprotective Brassiere has been optimized to a thickness of 4 ply's to provide maximum protection to breast tissue while preventing artifact in the diagnostic portion of a thoracic CT image
- The brassiere consists of two large panels and adhesive strips
- Each panel is specially-designed to form-fit the curvatures of the supine body regardless of the patient's size, providing maximum radiation protection to the medial upper breast, the armpit and other radiosensitive areas
- The breast shield allows approximately a 50% dose savings to the breast
