- Provides convenient and safe ESR determinations through a technique correlating directly with the Westergren method

- Manufactured with a minimum 2.55mm internal bore to prevent "cell bouncing" or the impedance of proper cell sedimentation
- "Triple plug" tip design provides a unique protective barrier from accidental over-filling of the pipet tube and spillage of blood
- Pierceable reservoir cap provides greater tactile feedback during pipet insertion and eliminates the need to remove the cap before insertion, improving safety
- Reservoir cap provides enlarged mixing space to ensure adequate mixing of blood and saline
- "Sealing ring" molded into reservoir below fill line ensures correct filling when inserted into the reservoir and helps to prevent leaks
- Restricted end of the reservoir acts as an extra safety feature by slowing the downward movement of the tube during insertion and providing a buffered stop
- Reservoirs are pre-filled to ensure the correct dilution following the recommended Westergren ESR method when 1mL of EDTA blood is added
