The refraction is reflected onto a scale inside the device, similar to a kaleidoscope, so users can take readings manually. Uses double cemented glass optics and a sealed blue prism to provide accurate readings for a large variety of medications including narcotics.
- Smart Design - Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) provides accurate readings without the need for temperature correction charts and tables. Brix read range is 0-30%, scale divisions are 0.2 and 0.5 and the refractive index reading range 1.3330-1.3811. Calibrated to distilled water.
