Lncs - SpO2 Sensor Forehead - 1896

I am an RT and work on the pulmonary floor and we do a lot of desaturation tests on patients going home to assess O2 needs and to qualify them for home oxygen. The sensor works great. But we are constantly having to buy new sensors because the wire that attaches to the sensor constantly breaks and frayed wires break out. This renders the sensor unusable. We can't use equipment that has frayed wires even if it functionally works. The sensor is kind of expensive and we are needing to order one every other month. It would help if there was a longer reinforced 'boot' like the one that is on the finger probe. This boot rarely breaks. I give the probe and an 'A', but the wire a 'D-'. it's really annoying how often it breaks.
