• The Leica Biosystems Differentiators are intended to be used on frozen or paraffin embedded histology sections with a hematoxylin and eosin staining protocol
• When used as recommended, the Differentiators remove excess of hematoxylin stain and define nuclei (in regressive staining method), remove non-specific hematoxylin staining from microscope glass slides caused by tissue adhesives, remove or minimize mucin staining providing transparency and definition of cytoplasmic stains
• The Leica Biosystems Differentiators are used in a H&E staining protocol to refine nuclei staining in regressive method and remove non-specific staining (e.g. glass slides or large, acidic proteins) in progressive and regressive staining methods
