Mopec Formalin Neutralizer Powder safely and easily neutralizes spent formalin waste to a non-hazardous and non-toxic solution suitable for sink disposal. Simply empty the entire contents of the bag into 1 gallon of spent 10% Formalin or 4% Glutaldehyde. Stir or shake until powder is completely dissolved. Cap the container and let stand for 15 minutes. You may use the aldehyde test kit to test for residual aldehyde. Verify pH between 6 and 9. Dispose of waste to sanitary sewer system in accordance with local POTW requirements.
Mopec Formalin Neutralizer Powder comes in packets to treat one gallon of formalin. Each case contains 30 packets, allowing for 30 gallons of formalin neutralizing capability of 30 gallons per case ordered.
