- Each control pack contains 6 X 1 mL vials of S. aureus (MRSA) NATtrol at target concentrations listed, these controls are supplied in a purified protein matrix that mimics the composition of a true clinical specimen
- NATtrol Staphyloccocus aureus (MRSA) external run controls are designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for determination of the presence of S. aureus DNA
- NATSAU(MRSA)-ERCL and NATSAU(MRSA)- ERCM can also be used for validation of clinical assays, development of diagnostic tests and training of laboratory personnel
- NATSAU(MRSA)-ERCL and NATSAU(MRSA)-ERCM contain intact organisms and should be run in a manner identical to that used for clinical specimens
- External run controls should be stored at 2 to 8°C
