- The Simulaids Training Vest has been designed with the assistance of the International Association of Fire Fighters (I.A.F. F.) to aid in the physical ability testing of fire department candidates
- The vest weighs 50 lbs., simulating the weight of the fire fighters protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus
- It is also designed to allow for the addition of two 121 %XE2?%X842-lb. weights on the shoulders to simulate a high-rise pack (hose bundle)
