US Plastic Corp. Phenolic and Epoxy Rod
Phenolic and epoxy laminates are a hard, dense material made by applying heat and pressure to layers of paper, fabric or glass fiber with a phenolic or epoxy resin. XX grade provides good mechanical properties, high dielectric strength, and good resistance to moisture. XXX is a paper-based phenolic with good mechanical properties, high dielectric strength, and good resistance to moisture. CE grade has a high impact strength for mechanical applications. LE grade has low moisture pick-up and can be machined to very close tolerances. LE also offers good mechanical properties combined with excellent electrical properties. G-10 grade is extremely high in mechanical strength, low in water absorption, and offers superior electrical characteristics.
Features:
XX is a copper, paper-based phenolic
XXX is a brown, paper-based phenolic with good mechanical properties & moisture resistance
CE is a brown, canvas-based phenolic with a high impact strength
